What a kitchen costs in Brussels, item by item.
Honest ranges, drawn from the Belgian market and our own quotes, excluding VAT and appliances. What moves the price is not the surface: it is the layout, the walls and the worktop.
The three levels
Fitting only. You supply the kitchen (IKEA, showroom, joiner), we prepare the room, fit, connect. From 2,500 € for a small kitchen to 9,000 € for a large one, depending on what must be redone behind.
Supplied kitchen, standard range. Units, laminate or entry-level quartz worktop, splashback, fitting, services, walls. From 5,500 € for a small kitchen to 19,000 € for a large open one.
Bespoke or high-end. Joinery made to measure or a high-end brand, quartz or stone top, quality hardware. From 9,000 € for a small room to 50,000 € for a large open kitchen with island.
What pushes the price up
Moving the sink or hob: extra plumbing and electrics, 1,200 to 3,000 €. Opening onto the living room: 500 to 1,200 € for a partition, 3,000 to 7,000 € for a load-bearing wall with beam and calculation. Redoing the floor of the whole room: 85 to 140 € per m². Bringing the electrics to standard: 1,500 to 4,000 € with the panel. The worktop: going from laminate to quartz adds 1,000 to 2,000 € over 3 metres. Appliances, always separate, run from 1,500 € to far more.
The 6% VAT
If the home is over ten years old, is mainly used as a private dwelling and the invoice is to the end consumer, VAT is 6% instead of 21% on labour and on the materials we supply and fit. Since 2022, a statement on the invoice replaces the certificate. On a 12,000 € kitchen, the difference is 1,800 €. The ranges on this page exclude VAT.
What the quote contains
One line per item, with quantity, unit price and total. Strip-out, services, floor, walls, fitting, finishing, cleaning. Who does what if a showroom is involved. The start date, the end date, and the units' manufacturing lead time separately. It is free, written within 48 hours of the visit, and commits you to nothing until you sign it.

Belgian market and own-site ranges, excluding VAT and appliances, for guidance. The written quote is the only thing that commits us.

What we get asked.
How much does a complete kitchen cost in Brussels?
Between 8,000 and 14,000 € excl. VAT for a medium kitchen supplied and fitted in a standard range, excluding appliances, services and walls included. A small apartment kitchen sits between 5,500 and 9,500 €, a large open kitchen between 11,000 and 19,000 €. Bespoke starts at 15,000 € for a medium kitchen.
Why are the prices given as ranges?
Because a 10 m² kitchen in a 1965 block and a 10 m² kitchen in a 1900 house do not need the same work behind the units. The range tells you where you stand; the quote, written after the free visit, gives the figure.
Are appliances included in your prices?
No, never in the ranges, because they run from 1,500 € to 10,000 € depending on brands. We can supply and build them in, and they then appear on their own line in the quote.
Do you ask for a deposit?
The payment terms are written in the quote, before signature, with the stages: on ordering the units, during the work, on handover. Nothing is asked before you have signed.
